Wai‘anae-Ka‘ala Trail Hike – Ken Suzuki

Ascend to the top of O`ahu’s highest peak, Mt. Ka`ala. Weather permitting, we’ll climb to the summit, enjoy panoramic views, walk through a cool, wet bog, and see a wide variety of native plants. This is a long, challenging hike with narrow trails on very steep cliffs. For safety reasons, all hikers will be pre-screened on the day of the hike by the hike leader. Only experienced adult hikers who are in excellent physical condition should participate. NOT FOR THE ACROPHOBIC! Strenuous, 6 miles.

Join us for a fun and exciting day of exploration at the Makapu‘u tide pools. Search for the different marine creatures that live in the intertidal zones and learn about the effects of marine debris. We’ll end the day “giving back” to the area by taking part in a beach cleanup.
