Restore Pouhala Marsh – O‘ahu

Sponsored by Hawaiian Electric Company, join Hawai‘i Nature Center on Saturday, March 30 in removing invasive species including pickleweed, cattail, and mangrove. Establish habitats for endangered waterbirds in a coastal marsh that has a remnant fishpond and is the largest remaining wetland habitat in Pearl Harbor. Must be 16 or older. Bring work gloves, hat, sunscreen, clothes that can get wet and dirty, change of clothes, towel, and covered shoes such as rubber boots. No restrooms or fresh water available.…

Mānoa Cliff Trail Hike – O‘ahu

This trail features spectacular island views and a variety of native plants, many of which are featured in Dr. Merlin's book, Hawaiian Forest Plants, available for purchase prior to the hike. Terrific Terrariums – O‘ahu (FULL)
