Project Info
Project Description
I received my B.S. in environmental studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2019. On top of being a full-time student, I was an NCAA athlete competing as a pole vaulter on the track and field team. After college I spent three years working for New York State Parks in environmental education and conservation.
I am currently pursing my M.S. in marine science from Hawai‘i Pacific University where I study the impacts of light pollution on Hawaiian seabirds. Environmental education is so important because it is the core of conservation. It is a joy to teach students about the things I am passionate about and explore Makiki valley with them. In my free time I enjoy surfing and reading.
