Hawai`i Nature Center donors provide sustaining support that has helped it grow to stand as one of state’s most respected and established environmental educators that took root in the 1980s. Its mission has thrived for more than 40 years. HNC is an independent nonprofit, homegrown in Makiki Valley in 1981. It is not part of a national organization.
