Turn School Breaks Into Nature Adventures

Nature Adventure Camp

Project Info

Project Description

October 2026 – School breaks are the perfect time for keiki to get outside, get curious and discover the natural world. This fall and winter, Hawaiʻi Nature Center’s Nature Adventure Camps invite keiki ages 6 to 11 on Oʻahu and Maui to turn time off from school into hands-on adventures in science, nature and Hawaiian culture.

Led by trained environmental educators, campers learn through exploration, investigation and play. From searching for tiny arthropods in a stream to spotting native birds, learning about humpback whales or exploring the connection between Hawaiian culture and ʻāina, every camp gives keiki a chance to experience Hawaiʻi in a whole new way.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
