Green Gala 2025

Hawai’i Nature Center’s Green Gala

2131 Makiki Heights Dr., Honolulu | Call: 808.955.0100 x123 | Email

Join us for an enchanting evening at the Hawai’i Nature Center’s Green Gala, on October 24 from 6–9 pm, under the twinkling stars on our lush Makiki Valley campus. Dinner will be set amid the vibrant rainforest where, since 1981, we’ve educated over 1 million keiki through immersive, science‑based programs – fostering awareness, appreciation, understanding and stewardship of Hawai’i’s precious ecosystems.

The Green Gala is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of community, nature and our shared kuleana to mālama ‘āina. Funds raised will deepen our reach with school field trips, Nature Adventure Camps, volunteer initiatives and newly launched projects like our native Pollinator Garden.

Mahalo for joining us beneath the stars to nurture Hawai’i’s future.

At its heart, this event supports our enduring mission: to inspire the next generation toward environmental leadership by bringing children outdoors for hands‑on exploration and learning. Each year, more than 20,000 students from 100+ O’ahu schools and 20+ Maui schools gain green time, grow their understanding of native species, watershed cycles and climate resilience – all in alignment with State DOE science standards.
