Must love kids and be passionate about environmental science. The Environmental Educators (part-time and full-time) work with a team of teachers and report to the Lead Educator. The main responsibility is to carry out Hawai‘i Nature Center’s (HNC) mission through its high-caliber programs to connect children and families to nature and create future stewards of Hawai‘i. Includes leading nature experiences such as on- and off-site excursions, hikes and stream explorations.
The Development Coordinator (full time) is a key position for the continued philanthropic success and impact of Hawai‘i Nature Center. Coordinates HNC’s annual fundraiser, assist with individual donor development, supports or leads grant-seeking and solicitation and plays a critical role in membership growth. This position also serves in a relationship-building capacity and serves as an HNC representative in the community.
