Get ready for nature encounters, project-based team work, physical exercise such as hiking, meadow exploration, wildlife discovery, instructional discussion and hands-on craft activities.
New for 2020, Hawai‘i Nature Center’s Outdoor EDventure Days is a weekday program for students when school campuses are closed. Incorporating State of Hawaii Next Generation Science Standards, this curriculum explores a broad range of topics led by environmental educators. Lesson include: climate change, the ahupua‘a ecosystem, native species, and cycles of nature.
More than 40 schools have relied on Hawai‘i Nature Center as its preferred partner for environmental education for more than 40 years.
In order to deliver the safest program possible, this is only offered as a two-day program within the same week. Limited enrollment is available and classes start on August 24.
