Nature Champions
Hawai‘i Nature Center’s Nature Champions are instrumental to our work and help us expand opportunities for keiki and families to connect with nature. These individuals, foundations, and corporate entities are committed to sustaining and growing environmental education across Hawai‘i.
For more than 45 years, Hawai‘i Nature Center has grown to become one of the state’s most respected and established environmental education organizations. Our mission first took root in Makiki Valley in 1981, where Hawai‘i Nature Center was founded as an independent, homegrown nonprofit. We are not part of a national organization, and our work continues today thanks to the generosity and commitment of Nature Champions.
