December 2025 – All keiki deserve to enjoy the squish of mud beneath their feet, to listen to the call of native birds, and to discover the magic of Hawai‘i’s forests and streams. But for too many families, the cost of these life-changing experiences is out of reach.
Your gift to Hawai‘i Nature Center programs supports access to science-based environmental education through scholarships, transportation support, supplies, and programs that are designed by the best environmental educators in Hawai‘i. We believe that every keiki should benefit from exploring, learning, and growing through our place-based outdoor programs.
When keiki connect with nature, they gain confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong sense of kuleana (responsibility) for the ‘āina. You can make that possible.

- Providing keiki the opportunity to engage in hands-on, place-based learning in forests, streams and oceans throughout Hawai’i
- Development of educational curriculum for schools and community groups
- Supporting underserved schools in attending Field trips and contributing to the NAC Scholarship Fund
