June 2023 – Hawai‘i Nature Center is pleased to announce a limited number of scholarships are available for keiki to attend Nature Adventure Camp this summer. Fill out this form to apply. Email questions and the completed application to nac@HawaiiNatureCenter.org.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Valid for 1 week between June 13 through July 24
- No extended care/late pick up available
- Transportation not included
- No meals/snack provided (keiki must bring 1 lunch + 2 snacks that require no refrigeration)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must attend a Title One School or receive free or reduced-cost lunch
- Eligible for keiki who are 6 to 11
- Family must be full-time Hawai‘i residents
- Limited scholarship funds are available and distributed based on need.
- Scholarships may be full or partial and will cover at least half of tuition costs.
- Scholarships are one per family and preference given to first-time beneficiaries.
Camps are held Monday through Friday (except on holidays) throughout the summer from 8 am to 3 pm. Summer camps center around these weekly themes: Hawaiian Legends, Designs in Nature, Sea-ing Green, Getting a Sense for Nature
