Project Description
Fund Development Manager
Growing up in Vancouver, Canada, I developed a strong connection to both the ocean and the mountains. This bond with nature sparked my lifelong passion for the environment and ultimately led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Ocean Sciences from the University of San Diego.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to environmental work, including marine mammal conservation, coral reef restoration, climate adaptation research, environmental conservation funding, and climate mitigation efforts. With a passion for working in the nonprofit sector, I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego. I’m excited to be merging my education and environmental experience to help youth access meaningful outdoor learning opportunities.
In my free time, you’ll find me hiking, paddling, swimming in the ocean, or spending time with my dogs and family. Nature brings me joy, and I’m honored to be part of Hawai‘i Nature Center because it is a place where children can build their lifelong connection with nature.
