Project Description
November 2020 – Due to popular demand, Outdoor EDventure Days has been extended until December 18 with a half-day and full-day programs on Oahu and Maui.
Outdoor EDventure Days incorporates State of Hawai‘i Next Generation Science Standards and explores a range of topics led by environmental educators including climate change, the ahupua‘a ecosystem, native species, and cycles of nature. Led by environmental educators, the program offers nature encounters, project-based teamwork, physical exercise such as hiking, meadow exploration, wildlife discovery, instructional discussion, and hands-on craft activities.
